22HGP-0608xx what do you guys do with these?

Besides giving and approximation of total permits issued since Bruen, you can also estimate how many approvals have come in over a particular time frame.. like a week which useful in seeing if MSP is approving more ( or less, or the same) per week or per day.
Though less accurate, if you can tell how many applications have been submitted, you can deduce I'd MSP is falling behind the curve or keeping up and then predict when an individual might get approved.

For those who don’t post here in the forums. It gives us an idea of how many are being approved.

if someone an hour after your approval Time posts a permit number of 22HGP – 0610xx then that would tell us that they approved about 200 to 300 permits in that hour or day whichever the case may be.

Has anyone tried tracking data from this thread but only using the application number and the number of days in processing to final approval?

These applications are not being submitted by people in a regular cycle. I figure more people are taking classes on the weekend so the numbers submittals on different days are not uniform. There has also been some times where there has been a large influx of applications.

By tracking by the approval number instead of the date of submittals you can kind of filter out the effect of the differing submittals on different days.

By tracking by the approval number instead of the date of submittals you can kind of filter out the effect of the differing submittals on different days.
Application numbers are assigned when the person first starts to fill in the application and many people start their application then wait and complete it only as each item required is added. Others complete the application the same day they submit it. So applications may be weeks or months (in one case years) in processing before they are actually submitted. Then in some cases the applications are incomplete and are rejected until the shortages are corrected. So the only firm and equal "beginning point" is the date accepted. The other data points do provide some insight into the process but start date and submitted date still contain many variables.

If you would like to track the data as you suggested you are welcome to do so and post your results as I am certain everyone is interested in gathering and analyzing as much data as possible.
