That is very true. I will actually occasionally open carry in certain circumstances but for certain places I would prefer to print less but don't have any worries if I do thankfully since like you said it is not illegal.

That's some bs I was accepted 9/6 and nics on 11/4 and I'm still waiting guess some of us are just unlucky

Will an email be sent once it goes to the “nics” stage and number? Looking at the averages here, it seems I should be at that next step any day now. Or are y’all just hitting the print app option to see if it’s on those pages now?

Interesting, my husband and I were accepted 9/12 and neither of us show NICS yet.

Actually, we got NICS on 11/10. I didn't realize you needed to click 'print app'. I was just looking at the status.

It means they have started the checks but not completed. They check 15 other databases before you get your number
