The no interest argument is an interesting one. If you put up so many barriers that someone doesn't want to do a thing. Then say that there's no reason to make it easier because nobody's interested it's funny.

As far I know an email will be sent to you asking you to acess the portal, I've seen approvals 2 days from NICS all the way to almost 2 weeks from NICS

7-10 days typically and you will get a email about the disposition once a decision is made. That’s when you log in a open your gift wrapping.

You get it when you get it. It’s at the MSP investigator’s discretion.

NICS number indicates investigation. It appears it's mostly criminal as no one has recently reported reference/employer checks. I have not heard of anyone getting disapproved after this step but my knowledge is limited to this site.

I think they may have slowed down on the 7-10 days from NICS to Approved over the holidays. I received my NICS on 12/21 and even though I check multiple times a day, sadly it's been crickets since then. Hopefully I will see something this week.

So, what was the total through the holidays? 122K?, yea I would say that there is no interest. We must be at around 5 times the number of permits for the year vs last year….
