Gotcha…so everyone’s permits issued prior to the amended law has that printed on them? Just seems stupid to say “none” but then list restrictions?
Well it’s not really acrestriction per se If it’s against the law it’s illegal. Redundant? Yes of course
Would love to see a similar restriction listed on a DL.... "Your driver's license is legal with the exception of places and exceptions where it is not legal".

Im with you on the redundant part…but the “MD only” portion is the one that has me scratching my head….how can MD dictate what another state chooses to allow? so by default a state that recognizes Md permit you can’t carry in because it says in restrictions … “MD only”

The application number is assigned when the application is initially started and stays the same no matter how long it takes for the applicant to complete the process and finally submit the application to the MSP. In the thread on application progress you can find examples that were started in one year and submitted the next and even a few were over a year between start and final submission. On the chart shown in post #9,329 of the Application Tracking thread ( https://www.mdshooters.com/threads/please-share-w-c-application-number-range.266406/page-59 ) the entry accepted on 12/6/22 shows a application number 20HGP0328XX. The numbering system for new applications being started starts over on January first with the YearHGP000001. In 2022 when the Bruen ruling was announced on June 23 the 2022 Application Numbers were about 22HGP01638X ( https://www.mdshooters.com/threads/application-progress-tracking-thread.266788/#post-6703793 ). The total number of applications STARTED in 2022, not necessarily completed nor submitted, was about 140,000. The current application numbers are at about 23HGP0751XX so since Bruen we have had about a total of just under 200,000 applications started.
The numbering for issued permits follows the format YearHGP-000000 (notice the dash) and it has run continuously since at least since Bruen was announced with only the year changing as of January 1st. When Bruen was announced on June 23, 2022 the Handgun Wear and Carry permit number was about 22HGP-0400XX currently the number is about 23HGP-1846XX so about 140,000 permits have been approved since Bruen. So there are about 60,000 permit applications outstanding, which may be in process or have been rejected or have been abandoned (started but never completed for whatever reason).
It would be a help in keeping track if people would post the following:

Application Number with XX for the last two digits =
Date Application Accepted =
Date Application Approved =
Permit Number (in the correct format) with XX for the last two digits =
And any other information you wish to share.

... on 8/18 I got an email stating there was an issue with my application and it needed correction. I had attached the WC Class certificate, when what they wanted was my Range Score. I fixed that issue and within 2 hours it went to Accepted Status. Assuming the F Print thing isn't an issue, I guess it's now just a matter of waiting.
