AR15 45acp USC Mag Block

Since the ATF/MSP seem to not want to approve my Form 1 on a MGI lower with a Grease Gun magwell I had to find another way to run my 6" Oylmpic 45 upper without using the aweful Olympic mags. Enter the Macon Armory USC magwell adapter. I used Rudy at Macon Armory before to cut and thread my 45 barrel to use a suppressor, it was a no brainier to pick up one of his magwell adapters. I'm still waiting on some Promag USC mags to arrive from Midway. I test fitted the magwell in my S&W SBR lower and it fit perfectly. Rudy also makes compete 45 DI uppers that work with his magwell utilizing a last round bolt hold open feature, I emailed him last Saturday and asked if the magwell worked with Oylmpic style blow back uppers and he said he wasn't sure but would test it on Tuesday and let me know. Tuesday evening he emailed me back and said it worked but had to remove the BHO. So I bought one without the BHO and it arrived today. Looks good and I can't wait to use it. My SBR stamp arrived today "Approved", fiqures I just bought the magblock and 2 mags, oh well can't have to many accessories I guess.

Sounds like a nice setup, how do you like the Olympic arms upper. The 45ACP AR community is small but its something I think I might join. I bought way more 45 than I can shoot through my 1911.
