While we know it won't do any good, we should write our reps and reques/ demand they introduce a similar piece of legislation. Each time another state passis gun friendly legilation we need to get on the writing spree. If they keep getting hit from their constituents, they may actually start to listen.

Note that roughly half of AK is dry, so if you partake (and don't want to drive a while), pick your county accordingly.

A lesson I didn't learn until I'd already signed my lease in Lonoke County. Even in the "wet" counties you can't purchase on Sundays, so you really need to plan your beer runs well. On the plus side, NW Arkansas is beautiful, hunting is good, winters are mild, and gas is cheap. If you can deal with a little bit of racism and bad schools, it's a pretty nice place to live.

Why oh why do some of these cool states have awesome people to elect to governor and we get stuck with the likes of a POS traitor Oh-maul-li and his cronies?
Because they demand it and will not accept otherwise. They don't hope, beg, or wish that it would be or cry that it can't be so. That's the difference between the anti gun states and the pro gun states and people therein, as I have observed by living in both. I NEVER ONCE heard growing up in Alabama "Well, what can you do" from anyone who was considered to be worth a s**t. That was NOT acceptable to say. EVER. Yet when in CA I heard it occasionally, and when I lived in NY I heard it all the time. It is the mantra of the truly pathetic.

Hell, even VERMONT, home of Ben and Jerry's and a boatload of other liberal pantywaists, has Constitutional carry. If THEY can do it why couldn't we?

They had RKBA in their state constitution and had a great VT Supreme Court precendent(Rosenthal v. State 1903). Even if the political climate changed there, that precedent makes it difficult for them to pass any anti-carry measures.
