As of 01/01/2017 you now have to register an account with MSP for online processing of your firearms purchase application.
An easier, quicker means of getting approval...or...just a better way to track gun legal gun ownership. You can be the judge.
Either way its on the MD State Police website under the licensing section. Look for the big blue button labeled 77R.
