I got there at about 11:30.

That was a great show. The crew that was working traffic and the entrance table were all helpful and welcoming.

I didn’t realize it was outside so a little chilly under the roof but also was nice to walk around.

All kinds of gun related stuff to be searched through. Lots of knives. But not like tables full of new Chinese crap. Just stuff people have collected over the years and want to get rid of. Various surplus gear. New guns, old hunting type rifles. Tons of reloading gear pieces and parts. Bullets of all kinds.

I bought more odds and ends there than at any show in recent memory.

Seems like everyone was willing to deal for the most part. I haggled some. Some things I just paid the sticker price. It was a fun atmosphere. Talked with the Saint for a bit. Dropped a little cash off with MSI.

Exiting up the hill from the property was even fun lol. I have an SUV, just didn’t want to kick up any rocks and hit anything.

Always enjoy these shows. And got to spend some time at the range with a friend who is a member and his son.
If you were at the show from 11-1, that was us letting some freedom rounds fly. :party29:
BTW, We weren't the ones doing the fast fire rate. We were a bit more controlled.

So it was you disturbing my peace with your damn freedom seeds!

In reality, it was my fist time there and I didn’t know where the range was until I left but the shots sounded farther away walking around the show than they were. They have a good setup there.

Had a great time selling and meeting everybody and talking. I sold just about everything. I let it go low priced. There were some good buys there. I was looking for some once fired .22-250 brass and some 16 ga. shells. Great little old school show!

I was talking to another member when you started pew pewing. He comment that the thought the range was closed. I told him no, they keep it open so you can try your new toy.

Exactly, that's why my buddy checked it out to be sure it was open for the day.

This show more than most of the BCF&G shows : Arrive Early . Posted hours were 8-4 , but the vendor exodus was in full swing by 1:00 , and by 2:00 just a handful of vendors left , but public still arriving .

That's unusual as Butch Mabus is pretty anal about having vendors stay until three. In the past, he wouldn't invite people back if they left early.

Yeah, we were late arriving and there were lots of empty tables. There was still lots of good stuff left and Mrs. B and I enjoyed looking around and talking to the vendors. It was good meeting you and Howard and looking forward to getting more active with MSI.

I left at 1:00 pm because I sold out. Only had three small items and 67 lbs. of lead shot left that no one wanted to buy. I was set up by 6:15 am. A guy was there and he was set up by 6:30 am and he sold the whole table at 6:30 to another vendor for $200. Looking at what he had it was worth at least $500 he said he was moving and his stuff had to go! By the way I was right next to Biggfoot44 and MSI.
