I've been going up and down on forums and searches. I stored my ar without lubing the barrel since I thought it was a bad idea(according to the internet since it never lies). Do you store your AR15 with lube in the Bore+Barrel? I use slip 2000 EWL on all my pistols and AR's, I don't know if it means anything though =/

A true operator uses KY, liberal tears, and can do a tactical reload while eating a cheesesteak and lubing the barrel on an AR.

Call these guys, they'll help you out.

Seriously though, I wouldn't store the rifle with lube in the bore. You are going to clean out the barrel before firing it after you take it out, just to make sure there isn't any large particulate matter in it. Store it without lube in the bore and let it sit. Lubricate it after you take it out of storage. It'll be fine.

    I run her hard.
    Then lube the barrel.
    Then keep her wet.

She says the order should be reversed.

I run a lightly lubed patch through after cleaning.

Don't want it soaking wet, but don't want her bone dry either. I'm sure there are multiple schools of thought on this.
It also depends on how long you have the firearm stored. Sure keeping the barrel dry when you carry it daily versus storing it for 6 months to a year.

I am not a fan of do all, be all, jack of all trades products.

I use a lube that LUBRICATES. And a corrosion preventative that PREVENTS CORROSION.

They just seem to work better.

What do you use to corrosion in the barrel?
