Battle of the Bulge Reenactment - 2015

Just a heads up that the annual Battle of the Bulge Reenactment will be held January 27th - February 1st, 2015 in Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, Pennsylvania.

Last year they had several vendors selling WW2 era equipment (repro and vintage.)

I will be going on Saturday 1/31 to photograph the event.

I went to Gettysburg for one 20 years ago. Never forgot it.

This is a much smaller event compared to Gettysburg. At Gettysburg you can have 10k reenactors and many more visitors. I think everyone should go at least once to see a Gettysburg reenactment.

This event has about 500 people total. I actually like these smaller events more.

I've been actively participating and selling at it for 23 years, so I can answer any questions. Great event. There are about 6 buildings of vendors. I'll be in building 13-08 so drop by and say hi. The sales buildings actually open starting next Wednesday. Saturday it closes at 3pm. Nothing on Sunday. No Tigers like we did a few years ago, but about 40 vehicles including our halftrack.

A quick followup on the event. It seemed like there were more people attending this year compared to last year. My one complaint is I wish they didn't move the flea market to that small dark building.

Very nice, thanks for sharing. Some of those pictures look like they are from WWII. The black & white is a nice touch.

This looks interesting, wish I could have gone to it. Been to civil war reinactments and have seen some WWII also at air shows. Last year at the WWII weekend at Reading airport was great with encampments all over of ground troops & battle reinactments. Here is a article I found on the Bulge battle.
