Maybe some of the usual crew would like to meet up for breakfast prior to the show?

It's a small area that draws a large crowd. Last year was jammed. I can't imagine what it will be like during the "Great Panic."

Be nice if they could find a larger venue. Place does get packed.

I think the problem with finding a larger venue lies in finding a larger site that has a deal as good as the armoury. If the next larger site wants to charge more for the rent, the local Izaak Walton League (IWL) running the show might find it best to stay at the current location.

There was also that snowstorm ~3 years ago that shut down the bel air gunshow. Apparently since the IWL needed to reschedule for a different date they had to pay rent to the armoury a second time, plus reorganize with the dealers. A larger site with higher rent and more dealers would be an increase in risk for the IWL

    Sgt Preston here...

I always go to this show...

But, honestly it's a small venue & a small show...

I go to visit with old gun dealer friends, gunsmith friends & some old USMC buddies...

Honestly I've never bought a gun at this show...

The food has typically been very good & the place is always packed...

I always come away with a smile on my face...

It reminds me how great America was in the 50's...

It also reminds me of what is missing in America today...

I love that show! It's a small show but the purple cammo and cheep jewelry do not take up half the show. It reminds me of being a kid and going to gun shows with my uncle and dad. Also its always nice to see Dave from Badgersmith.

Finally something local! Will most likely attend, although not to much in the market at the moment.
