    All I know is it had that silly tip up barrel feature which I never understood

    That feature is actually really awesome. The main spring can be really stiff and there isn't a lot of real estate to purchase when trying to rack. The tip up barrel allows you to load the pistol so you don't have to rack the slide. I have a Beretta 21A pretty similar except for the trigger.

    It likes high velocity ammo. Velocitors and mini mags. You need some umph since it is a blowback with no extractor.

    I would be interested in getting mine threaded. I know there is a company that will install a new barrel for you. I'll have to google that again. If Beretta could do it that might be better. It looks a little hard to replace on my own. The front hinge pin to remove the barrel could cause issues if you don't know what you are doing.

    I just looked on Gun broker. I had no idea Beretta was making them factory threaded. I would love an Inox model...
    I have a nickel one that is beat up.
