I know that everyone is sending emails opposing SB0281 and some other bills. But don't forget to voice your support for the two good bills being proposed.
Namely these two:
HB0395 Handguns - Permit Qualifications and Carrying on School Property - School Guardians

Requires MSPD to issue carry permits to qualified persons designated as a School Gaurdian and exempts them from the prohibition of firearms on school property.
Trained, armed school staff.
HB0426 Public Safety - Firearm Ammunition - Purchaser Information

Prohibits seller of ammunition from requiring the purchaser to provide personal identification information as a condition of purchase or collecting said information or providing for others, said information.
