Can't compete with some here, but at least I can show something.

I like the structural door beam. Here are my Wal Mart EBR's. My pimptacticular Rem7400 30-06 and my pimptacular 10-22. I will be hosting a group build in a few weeks so maybe I will have something evil soon.

The AR I didn't know I wanted before SB281 happened

Finally got around to setting up the Bushmaster AR-15 H-BAR that I bough from Lou (Shooters Discount). Primary Arms had a deal in that if you bought a EoTech 516.A65 Red Dot sight they included a 3X magnifier for free. I wanted the option of being able to easily use either the EoTech alone or with the 3X so I paid about $85 more for the Burris Pivot Mount that was also an option with the set up. As you can see from the photos all did not work out as planed. I slid the original pop up sight to the last slot to the rear and the EoTech to the last slot towards the front. Unfortunately when I added the Burris Pivot mount between them the 3X magnifier would hit the back of the EoTech. I was finally able to get it all to work by mounting the Flip Mount backwards and removing a screw-on protective ring on the front of the magnifier. That removed ring did not seem to be important and the shorter length allowed the 3X to swing up in back of the EoTech. I did a preliminary sight in with a bore sigh laser and plan to take it to Freestate range soon to see how it all works.

I got something for him, 530gr steeltip at about 1300fps.

That should leave a mark.


*The muzzlebrake really works well, it's not as painful to shoot now.

Here is a Better picture. It is not in beltfed configuration. Similar configuration to the HK m27 IAR at 7.8 lbs. it is practical. The quick change heavy barrel also works great. It is sub moa with good ammo. Now I need optics and a suppressor adapter. I wonder if a slide fire stock is worth the trouble?
