Ok I've tried to read all the threads on the MD regulated guns, assault rifle and magazine ban, but I'm still confused like I'm sure some of you still are.

My question is in reference to a purchasing a bolt action .223/5.56 cal rifle that has a 10 rd mag (can also use AR mags), has a 16.5" threaded barrel, and a flash hider. Would any of or a combo of these characteristics make it regulated in MD?

The specific gun is the Mossberg MVP Patrol rifle.

    Thanks

Ok Thanx ya'll. I wasn't sure if having the magazine capacity of an AR, a flash hider and threaded barrel, and short barrel jumped it into a regulated gun in this communist state.

Considering the purchase of a .308 bolt gun that will have a pistol grip. Have wondered about the new law.

Is a bolt gun (.308) with a pistol grip and fixed stock good?

All Bolt Guns are fine, it doesn't matter their configuration, it doesn't matter their caliber. So long as they come with a 10 round Magazine or less, they are ALL good to go.

Again, the feature test is for Semi-Automatic Rifles ONLY.

Pistol grip is NOT one of the features tests. It was removed from the bill before passage.

Grenade launchers with flash hiders and folding stocks are fine on a BOLT ACTION rifle.

The test starts with SEMI AUTO, CENTER FIRE.

Ordered an MVP Patrol with flash hider online last week and it shipped out Thurs. Found it for under $500 so couldn't pass it up. Can't wait till it arrives!
