It's not about 30 bucks, it's about the extra hassle and the extra fees. With all things combined at what point does it equal infringement?Well I guess you need to spend 30 bucks then

That's what I meant by everything combinedAs pointed out The HQL is a hassle and an infringement too.
It’s MD
The only problem with moving out of state, we're giving up ground. Then we'll eventually all be surrounded. We have to stay and fight!! LolIt is infringement, but it’s the law in Maryland if you want to purchase a handgun. Just like the HQL is an infringement. If you don’t want to deal with the hassle the only current options to buy newer handguns are to move to a state with less infringement or build an 80% handgun.

I hear all those states are also changing slowlyI’m just giving you all the options. That’s them. You could try to get the laws changed and people are doing that by supporting various organizations, lawsuits, and protesting however none of those are fast. Democrats control Maryland and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
As soon as I have the money I’m leaving for somewhere free where there isn’t a handgun roster, banned rifles, an HQL, or a ridiculous 29” OAL requirement for a SBR.
Yeah I saw that I was thinking of going to Chantilly this weekendUnder the catagory of " Someone needs to do somthing about all these Infringements " , someone is doing so . Maryland Shall Issue ( MSI ) , the premier Maryland based gun rights Org has multiple pending Federal Lawsuits ongoing to protect and expand our Rights . They have a seperate Fund that goes 100% to the legal fees , please donate generously and often .
You can donate thru the website, by snail mail to the PO Box , or at gun shows , such as Chantilly this weekend , there is a tip jar for donations , if you prefer to give cash .
I hear all those states are also changing slowly but surely, I have someone offering me a 380 lock would that work? Do they really scrutinize if you bring your own?

I'll bite . .380 and 9x19 share the same bore size , if the length is compatible, shouldn't they interchange ?
Is there such thing as a bore lock for 556/223 for a CZ Bren pistol? If so where can I get one ?
Most of my bore locks are multi caliber. 9mm and 380 ought to be interchangeable. The Franzen I have worls for 9mm, 357 mag, 38 special, anything in that diameter: http://www.franzenint.com/?product=franzen-interbore-bore-lock
...
bore locks are generally not sized by the cartridge they are sized by the bore diameter, plus bore length- Unless you get a fancy expensive one like Omega. A bore lock for a 4" barrel might not work in a 8" barrel. Omegas are sized by the cartridge and not flexible across calibers. I generally avoid caliber- specific.
Mind you, FFLs do not inspect them closely.
I second that notion but for 9mmDoes anyone have a borelock for 556/223 that I can barrow ?
The Cop Shop. Another dealer who won't let you leave without purchasing a lock. I don't know from experience, just what I've heard.
