Picked up a Mosin with a beautiful lami stock from Shooters Discount Saturday.
Now my lonely Brunette has a sexy sister.

It was a pleasure meeting you...and your humor, lol.

nice collections! I have one with a sniper scope, it's been around since way before they started putting scopes on them for the aftermarket. any idea what it's worth?

    Very nice!

Obviously you don't work in Education or for the Government, since you can take your guns to work. Sounds like a very safe workplace!

Next on my list is a M44 that I NEED to buy soon because, well...I am addicted to the damn things.... Just wish that C & R license would show up.

I offered a guy at the Mason Dixon show $225 for a nice M44 (was listed for $250) but he balked at the idea and looked at me like I had just sprouted a mini Obama on my forehead, lol.
I'd rather support a local shop anyway...wink wink nudge nudge.

Aim Surplus had some really nice ones last month but have sold out. You can ask to be notified when they are back in though

I really LIKE the way the redhead (ROTHLADOAD) incorporates the blonde streaks. :D

    Definition of "ROTHLADOAD"
Noun (well almost); color on specific object; an accronem (spell- too lazy to look it up) that stands for "Red On The Head Like A Dick On A Dog".

Don't think you'll find that in your Funk & Wagnells. :lol2:

Hef, is that Mosin going to be a shooter?
Is that the original finish from the import?
    I like the color.
Are you going to need clean it up any?
    I'm Curious
    Thx

It will see some shooting time, I have a feeling it won't be as accurate as my Brunette, but we'll see. (Will post results)
I don't believe it's the orig. finish, but I could be wrong. whoever owned it before me took extremely good care of her.
It's VERY clean, I see what looks like either dried cosmoline or lacquer in between the hand guard and stock, sling hole covers, and on the recoil bolt.
To be honest, I don't want to break her down, I know the barrel bands are going to scratch the hell out of the top handguard and that would make me a very sad boy, lol.
