The freedom of not being at the mercy of all the craziness when it comes to bullets.
I had a free afternoon so I figured I'd sit down and cast myself some bullets to replenish my stockpile a little.

Now to get some more wheel weights ready for the pot.

    Oops ... my bad. :innocent0

Gotta love the endless bullets, that you make yourself. Much better then being at the mercy of the retail shops to buy bullets :sad20:

Its amazing how dingy dirty wheel weights turn into shiney, hole punching bullets.

Its cheaper to shoot 45ACP then 22LR, especially these days.

Even more now, when the hoarding douche waffles, turnaround and sell $18 bulk boxes for $75 :sad20: But its America and free market ....:blah:

I hear you. Sean and I have been collecting lead, you guys will have to give us a crash course on turning wheel weights into projectiles!

    Oh yeah the free market....

    Sssssshhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Talk to loud or too much about this and 'they' will want to regulate wheel weights!!

I think they are already trying, tire shop owner I talked with yesterday said in some industry magazine he gets they were looking into making it illegal to sell lead wheel weights, making zinc weights the only thing they could use. We shall see.:sad20:

Very cool. Looks like a lot of work, but probably very rewarding.

Not really alot of work, once everything gets up to temperature those little beauties come pretty quick. To me the lube and size stage is more of a PITA, but it all goes pretty quick.

Those are sweet! I need to find a good source for pure lead for minie balls. The wheel weights are too hard.

Too purdy to shoot, nice. Now I must not post photo's in fear of shame. No one here seems to be eager to cast their arms into "Peace Bricks" as the Seattle Mayor desires? Lead is easier to get on target than throwing bricks.
