I want to buy a handgun from budsgunshop and have it sent to my ffl. The gun is on the handgun roster but the magazine is over 10 rounds ( Maryland law require no more then a 10 rd magazine ) Would they still ship the gun even though in md you can only have a 10 round mag

I can't speak for Bud's, nor your FFL. It is legal for Bud's to ship the >10rd mags to your FFL. It is not legal for your FFL to give the mags to you. MD State Police have clarified that your FFL cannot ship them out of state for you to retrieve. MOST online dealers end up shipping the pistol without mags and it is up to you to legally procure them on your own.
Long story short- you can buy the pistol, but you aren't getting the mags with the sale.

If Bud's will ship the mag. Ask your FFL if they will pin it to 10 rounds for you.

First hand experience, buds won’t take mags out of the case. Anything over 10+1 is a no go from them.

Grab a gun will remove the mags for you. Why not call a local shop? Many can match or beat the price of online.

No, it won't complete the sale for any handgun with over a 10 round mag.

Not only will they not ship a 10+ round mag but they interpret the MD roster very strictly. I ordered a desert eagle 1911u from them and it took several back and forth phone calls to get them to ship it because the roster doesn’t specify approved calibers for that gun.

I haven’t found a local shop that will match buds prices. The one that I did find always wants to add $50 to buds prices for the transfer. I don’t disagree with this but most times the savings on taxes still make it worth going to buds. This is moot if Buds won’t ship.
