They had me at Lou and Mopar will be putting together a meetup with food. All the additional attendees is just a huge bonus. lol

Right now, it looks like I will be there. Just trying to figure out a date/time to go dove hunting with a buddy of mine at his club. I already told Mopar about this. I went hunting with my buddy last year and took my dad along. Well, my dad reminded me of myself when I was about 10 years old, and I reminded me of him. At first, he was grumbling about having to leave my house at 9:00 am and having to cross a river by boat to get there. Then, noon came around and we didn't see many birds at first, so more grumbling. Around 1:00 they started flying. By 2:30 I had my limit. Around 6:00 he was still shooting and I had to bug the heck out of him to stop and pack up because we had to get back across the river before sundown. Now, he keeps asking me over and over again if I have heard from my friend about dove hunting. He even planned his late August, early September vacation around possibly going dove hunting. Not only that, but he had emergency heart surgery back on April 25th. So, if it comes down to this meetup or dove hunting with my dad, I am choosing the latter. I really like this board and I really like the vast majority of people on this board. However, I LOVE my dad. I do have to pass Mount Airy to get to this dove field, so it is possible, that I could get there late if the hunt actually turns out and ends up being on the 11th. Lots of what ifs right now.
