Cecil County Parks - Carry

Wonder if anyone can help out here….



Looking at the Cecil county parks and rec website…(https://www.ccgov.org/home/showpublisheddocument/340/635954635286200000)

261-5.R says no carry in parks unless on official business…



But…

Apparently this was amended in 2015
(https://www.ccgov.org/home/showpublisheddocument/13693/636016194713530000) to allow it by permit holders.


First google search brings up ecode site (https://ecode360.com/16189181) that shows the code with the updated language.


Anyone have an actual answer or know a ccso that can look it up in their magic system. Even if it was amended again, it would show it in the code as amended but it doesn’t which makes me question of it was ever updated to begin with.

Just for everyone’s reference. Depending where you look the code up on the county website depends where it brings you. Site map- county code brings you to ecode360.

I would say you're correct - those rules were dated 2012, and the county council ammended the rules in 2015. Of course, we all know how good government agencies can be with keeping their web pages up to date

It’d be nice to have all county carry restrictions as a sticky. Is this topic covered in the 16hr training?
