CMP Rimfire Sporter Matches at Cresap Rifle Club

Cresap Rifle Club will be sponsoring CMP Rimfire Sporter Matches at Cresap Rifle Range at 6420 Plant Road, Frederick MD, on April 15th, June 17th, August 12th, November 11th, and the Maryland Rimfire Sporter State Championship on September 16th. Awards will be CMP Achievement pins and certificates, and the highest score for each match will receive a $50 Visa Gift card. The flyers are attached. Yes. The competition is created so anyone can get a .22 from Walmart (or wherever) and compete and it doesn’t become an equipment race.

Are they going to measure? My newest 10/22 is right around 2.5lbs.

It went well. One of our juniors got the $50 Visa for the highest score. Our next one is June 17th. Sorry I didn’t reply earlier.

Yes, these matches are open to the public. We are also planning on a 100 yard Rimfire benchrest competition later this summer.
