I've got a feeling this seller is going to get full value for this set. More than my budget can handle, but worth a look for those with some spare cash.

Ive seen those before, awesome. That said I would never buy guns like that even if I could afford them, I would never want to take them out of the case and use them. Though I will say for what those probably cost in MSRP originally, they could have matched the grips better........

(talk about a 1911 idiot scratch that would hurt! )

I have sort of an unwritten rule that I don't buy anything that I wouldn't be willing to shoot. In some cases, I've bought things that need more work/parts to be able to shoot them than I've gotten around to yet, and I've got a couple of things that are a little bit too sketchy to shoot much. Even "The Dictator" ... what I call my bling-plated presentation piece Sistema, has had three rounds put downrange through it. Other stuff that I haven't shot would just need cleaning before I could do so (and I have multiples of that type).

Something like those cased pistols might be a great long-term investment, but so might a lot of other things. I think if I had the liquidity to buy something like that, I'd be looking instead at something in the class 03 category that I could use a bit.

Yes, these certainly weren't meant to be target pistols. They are BBQ guns for a day and age long gone from the east coast. In America though, folks might still wear these at their Sunday socials.
