    Agreed. While we're mostly trying to prevent smash and grab opportunistic attacks rather than a well equipped, sophisticated heist, I don't think it would take any really elaborate tools to pop or cut that wire. I bet a screw driver could do it fairly quickly and quietly. A hasp isn't Ft. Knox, but it would take more time.

    Keeping in mind that the intent is to secure firearm temporarily in vehicle for miscellaneous stops, etc., and not installing something that requires vehicle suspension system enhancements.
