    Discussed at length on multiple threads. This was the repeal of the shell casing bill. Passed and signed into law. I think it officially goes into effect on Oct 1st (someone can correct me if I'm wrong about that).

    You are correct, although as of two weeks ago, MSP did not want a spent shell casing with a handgun transfer (I got my kimber DW transferred at the hanover barracks).

    I would still be prepared to have to provide one, just to have it thrown away in october.

    Was your gun new or used? New requires shell casing, used does not.
