    F. This does not help Maryland.....

The Third Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday granted the state attorney general's request to keep part of the law that bars people from carrying handguns in “sensitive places” in effect.

MSI has asked for a PI on just the following:

“MD. CODE, CRIM. LAW § 6-411(d) (anti-carry default), MD. CODE, CRIM. LAW § 4-111 with respect to locations licensed to sell or dispense alcohol for on–site consumption, museums, and health care facilities, MD Code, Transportation, § 7-705(b)(6) (mass transit), COMAR 08.07.06.04 (State parks), COMAR 08.07.01.04 (State forests), and COMAR 08.01.07.14 (Chesapeake Forest Lands),”

If I understand it (big If), 3CA stayed the injunction on 3 that are analogous to ours (on-sight alcohol, museums and some health care) which is not good. But it upheld the PI on 2 (anti-carry default and mass transit). To me, the anti-carry default is the most egregious.

Call me Pollyanna, but I am encouraged.

I would agree that the anti carry default was the big one. That pretty much put every business off limits.
