-I had this exact version of the Mark I in .22 cal when I was a teen. Later it was purloined by my brother's step sons, never to be seen again. So when this one pop'd up in a local auction I had to have it. Still has an advertising sticker on the barrel. Figured I would have to replace all the seals but damned if it doesn't hold pressure! A keeper.

I had one of those in the seventies when I was active duty. As I recall, the cocking lever allowed you to choose between high and low. It was a fun gun.

Sometime in the late '80's mine started leaking and I could not find anyone who could reseal it so I sent it to airgun heaven.

My dad still has his, we had new seals put in when I was a teen, at a Crossman repair center (guys house in harford county). He did offer my dad 2-300 for it saying they were getting decent money for them overseas.

The early Mark Is had a Hi/Lo pressure adjustment and a toggle lever to puncture the cartridge. Later in 1975 Crosman deleted the pressure selector/regulator and went to a push style cartridge puncture mechanism. Photos from the Vintage Airgun Gallery.

These days it's easy to find seal kits to replace hard/rotten seals. I have a Mark II that leaked badly around the puncture cap and picked up a nice seal kit for under $10.
