current ATF wait time

Yup. I'm still at a loss as to why anyone would go any other way.

Starting week 7 waiting on papers back from MSP. If I could do it over again I would have just done a trust this is ridiculous.

Just spoke with ATF and I went pending August 31,2011 for my cans and SBR.
might have my toys for Christmas or maybe sooner.

Funny how this stuff works. I turned mine in on 9/16. Signed off on 10/11 and recieved in the mail on 10/14 Looks like yours just sat there for a week before being mailed

I went the Trust route, but Evans said over email that he was willing to sign. Look for Rusty Shakleford (member here) and enquire about a Trust..... well worth it.

Still - Thanks, I may do a Trust later on, since my finances ain't what they used to be I'll probably go solo on the first 'Stamp', that and I worry the BATF will stop the Trust deal, since it makes NFA-life more bearable.

All the more reason to do it from the outset.
That way, the cost of setting up the trust gets spread among any (and all) future NFA purchases.

Yup, be pateint. I just checked around last night. Some forum posts here and there and NFA tracker times. Looks like when people have called recently, WV is telling people ~4 months from when they go pending. (Not advocating calling.)
"Ouch" is right. Just sent mine to Atlanta 2 days ago. Time for a long nap, Rip Van Winkle style.

Waiting on a previous one, check cashed by ATF early July. Still waiting.
Evan, I think you may have seen it at 2A, the FDE Osprey on the FDE FNP45?
That is the one that should be back in the next 30 days or so, let's hope?

But get this....you may remember Mark and I were rubbing CLP on it to see if it would do anything to the blem?

Mark calls a few days later, he pulled it back out of the box, and the CLP had taken the stain out!
Looks like it had leached from the black velcro on the pouch onto the anno finish.
All is well now.
Except for the ATF wait! I keep saying "any time now?"

Once everyone gets their stamps for the YHM SBRs we'll have to have a SBR shoot somewhere.

Based on the latest estimates, I'm guessing it's going to be Feb/March timeframe since mine just got mailed to ATF this week.
