    The problem with the LINCH is that it basically prevents you from running side or dogleg mounted optics. If you're running a handguard optic, I guess it's reasonable.

    I am more of a fan of the Dublin AK Systems ratchet charger:

    This has some issues, too (no quad rail handguard!), but it's much better for optics.

    Very simple approach, to me anyways.

    I'm fine with RH charging, since I shoot rifles southpaw... :D

    Someone on ARFCOM suggested that this might count as a foreign part on your gun, since that very same charging handle counts as a part on the FN FAL.
