I own a Del-Ton mid-length upper that has been flawless for me after a few thousand rounds. Chad said the head spacing was a tad tight for 5.56, but not terribly so.

I have 2 mid lengths and they have been fine. Not Colt, but no issues at all.

Well, Hot Damn! Now just got to wait for a sale. I've seen a lot of the Ruger 556's go for $475-$500 brand new, now I just got to find an HBAR sale.

I like my Delton Sierra 316. I needed a cheap AR to play with stuff like my Bumpfire stock. (I wasn't going to hack my pre-FSA Colt 6920.)

It goes bang when I pull the trigger and the bullets go where I point them. It doesn't come with a rear site, but I added this cheap one from amazon:
