To add to all of this. I sometimes double up with foam plugs but to drown out noise at hotels I have used the orange waxy plugs you find at drug stores for swimming. They mold in pretty well and are way better then foam plugs which alone suck. The skull things or the ones like them work but hurt my ears. I do have some custom molded ones from the lady that did them at the HoCo show and they really work well. I always use muffs at the outdoor range and double up at indoor ranges which don’t frequent.
