Early bday present to myself!

I will be celebrating my 38th birthday in a few weeks so I decided to get myself a present. I picked up a sweet mossberg 500 with a nice bit of ammo for $400 off of a guy i met on armslist. i cant wait to take ber for a spin. super excited. I think i got a pretty good deal It came with a scabbard and
36 rounds 2 3/4" slugs
10 rounds 3" slugs
71 Winchester #9 shot light target loads
5 rounds 2 3/4" 00B
100 rounds federal #7 1/2 multi purpose loads
10 federal tactical slugs
9 remington solid copper hollow point slugs

Congrats. For a good light, I would recommend either an inforce WML or an Elzetta.

Thanks for the recommendation and that grip is pretty comfy. It has a rubberized blackstrap. Pretty ergonomic.

Inforce WML or anything by Surefire. Insight and Streamlight make good stuff.

I have a Mako forend on mine so I can mount stuff. If you're looking for a no gunsmith optic check out Mesa Tactical they have shell holders with top rails.

It already has the rail installed for an optic on the top. Even has a pretty solid tri rail mount on the front end for a light already installed. I think I'm going to see what I can find on amazon.

Don't cheap out on the optic it has to withstand shotgun recoil.

Yeah. I was going to go with a truglo but I may just save up and get a high quality more expensive optic.
