I'll likely be out there (not on the shore). But not much since the field I hunt isn't cut yet.

Good luck to anyone that goes out! Hopefully it's better than last year.

I got a call earlier in the week and the farmer said the geese are coming in daily. I know where I will be when it opens up

Was out kayaking yesterday and had 12 fly over where our blindsite is located. Funny watching them fly maybe 20 feet above me and locked up for the shore. Not sure though if we'll go out or let them be live decoys until it gets a little colder.

I've seen an increasing number of birds in one of the cut corn fields I pass every day. There's no farm house nearby so no idea how to find out who owns it and ask permission. But there is no lack of geese right now. I hunted Monday AM and saw 2 good sized flocks but they weren't interested in the decoys.
