Come out and support one of the few Shows actually held on the Eastern Shore. Please be aware this is the Weekend BEFORE Waterfowl Festival. They don't hold it the same weekend anymore.

it sucks that it isnt waterfowl festival weekend but it is usually a good show. I've gotten some really nice stuff at this show over the years.
I plan to be duck hunting in DE and will swing by on m y way back to the wrong side of the Bay

Is this the show that basically has high-end shotguns and rifles? Or is it someplace that I might be able to find an M1 carbine or grand or some deals on ammo? How many tables?

This show does have good deals on ammo usually. Additionally, there are plenty of curio and relics to be had. Sometimes a Class III dealer from Delaware shows up. ( at least I think they are from DE)

Sad to report but this was the smallest ESAC show I can remember. I know one reason is that older members have died off. I saw some good prices on Air Rifles and some .22's. Some used reloading equipment and a few boxes of primers. I didn't see any powder.

The back room was taken by one dealer but I didn't see any name. He had some hi dollar modern stuff back there. I saw AK pistols, MP5, Thompson Sub gun, and lots of AR based stuff.

There is a guy selling .50 cal ammo cans but I forgot to get a price.

Worth going to look for C&R rifles? I was planning on going tomorrow.

There were quite a few C&R, lever actions, wwII bolt actions and muzzleloaders.
    In addition to the above:
    Enfield 303's, one Fazefkely (sp)
1903 Smith Corona and another 1903
    Savage 32
    Colt 32
    Colt 25
    Nickel Colt DS
About 3 M1's with what looked to me like CMP tags
Two Lugers, one commercial 30 and another WWI era mil.
    A Krag or two
    A saddle ring Sharps (?)

Not a huge show but a lot of various things.

The .50 cans were expensive, something like $35 for 2 and $50 for 3 IIRC. There were a lot of the same faces and the same items that get dragged in and out every year. There were some ok prices here and there. But, as usual, there are some prices which, if you made an actual fair offer, would have the "seller" take offense. It seems most of the guys with tables are older collectors that sell when they can to augment their collection. The one that always make me chuckle inside is the fellow selling silver coins for silly high prices - for example perfectly ordinary American Eagle 1 oz. coins for well over $40 (current per oz. silver is $23.23 and Eagles can be bought now for a few dollars more than that.) Junk silver dimes, quarters and halfs similarly overpriced.

There was one guy along the left-hand wall that had a decent amount of common calibers. There was modern ammo in small amounts here and there and a large amount of vintage ammo, much of it plastic wrapped to protect the packaging, in other words "collectable".

The back room guy had a lot of modern stuff. I only gave it a cursury glance since every prior year he has wanted top dollar for what he has. He did, however, have 2 or 3 people sitting down to do paperwork. So, someone is buying what he is selling.
