    There was a table where they were doing transfers (quote: CASH ONLY!) for $30 for long guns and $75 for HQL and regulated. This puts the single shot .22 LR and other inexpensive guns out of reach now. The no FTF transfer of long guns in MD was designed to put gun shows out of business.

    Along with most all other private sales. Now both parties need to travel to a FFL, and also need to meet everyones schedule. But like you said it makes cheap guns not worth it. By the time you factor in transfer, gas and your time.
