Nice outdoor range, but we were disappointed to find out that you must bring your own target hangers and they must be tall enough to put the center of your target at least 4 feet off the ground.

Knowing this ahead of time would have been fine, but the website made no mention of it at all. Bummer. We drove an hour to get there only to turn around and drive home. We tried looking for some of what I call "sign trash" (those small cardboard signs stuck on wire stands that everybody feels they have the right to stick wherever they want), but the town of North East seems relatively free of them.

No RO's at the range; maybe a ranger drops by once in a while?

I like the trap stand off to the side of the shooting lanes.

I shoot there about once a month. It is a cheap range but it's still a place to go. I do think it sucks that we have to bring our own target holders. I have never seen a nrp or a ranger around the range but they normally hang out closer to turkey pt.
