Just received this from Dyson's people......

Please be advised that my views on SB281/HB294 have not changed. There have been several robocalls made stating inaccurate information regarding my position. I will continue to fight with due diligence to defend our Second Amendment right to bear arms. I am against any new gun controls measures.

I got the exact same reply. I'm still concerned about what I've heard, especially since another Senator mentioned it. He is a fence sitter who will wait until something already has enough votes to pass before he votes. Then he can safely vote against it just to be able to say he did.

They are fence sitting because they KNOW the repercussions of their actions if they have any hope of re-election in the next cycle.

OMalley is pressing them, but he has nothing to loose... and they do.

We need to keep reminding them that the consequences of their actions will be very bad for their careers going forward.

I don't trust his motives are because our interests. It's all about his self preservation in that job. I've been writing letters and sending faxes to his office since I would not be surprised his office is one the ones deleting emails. Keep the pressure on him.

I got the same email so I replied to him and said

I appreciate you telling me that but I am listening to the senate floor as
much as I can today and yesterday and Senator Frosh is stating outright
lies, citing false information, fraudulent studies, and massaged
statistics to suit his agenda but I have yet to hear you speak once.
Please speak up and call him out on his lies or I fear this bill will
pass.

I am more than willing to provide you with any information to help you
demonstrate that he is in fact lying about these statistics.

I cannot in good conscience vote for someone that has not stood up to
fight for my right.

I listened as much as I can. If he spoke I missed it. He needs to speak up. Why is it Sen Nancy Jacbos is how I get all of my information about this when she isn't even my senator. He needs to do better.

Thank you for your reply to my recent e-mail. I understand you're supporting our 2nd amendment rights. Thousands of Maryland gun owners are listening to the Senate proceedings online today and reporting to others what is going on with amendments which are introduced. Please stand up and be heard for our rights and help kill this legislation. These thousands of gun owners will also be voting again in the next election and remember how you vote. Vote for us, not the Governor, not the Senate leaders.
