Was going to suggest Black Hole, as they make a good shooting barrel as well. But for a 18" .308 tube it looks to be right about $340, give or take.
Problem is the funding issue, in regards to what I could get past the wifey.
As much as I'd like a Shilen, Bartlein, etc... I can't justify it for a while, if at all because of the financial hit. I don't need 1/4 MOA, I just need to be able to hit 1-1.5 MOA consistently.
And yes I was asking about a 308 AR 10 barrel. Thanks for noticing and getting it back on track, Brad and speed.
I looked at BHW and seriously thought about them and then I saw the lead time. Ouch...Was going to suggest Black Hole, as they make a good shooting barrel as well. But for a 18" .308 tube it looks to be right about $340, give or take.
Many thanks!Shooting 1.5- 2 MOA at 600 isn't so easy, wind effects you more than you would think. If you want real world hits at 9.5" -12.5" means your gun should probably shoot 1/2 to 3/4" at 100.
I will do some digging to see of I can find something decent for $300ish.
Many thanks!
Might have to go BHW for about 350.You can get a kreiger blank for $325 lol
I'm not having much luck
