Fed AWB Hearing WED 9/25/19!

Posting up an album of pics that capture some of the scenes at the Judiciary Committee “AWB of 2019” hearing the day Jeff was ejected.

PATRIOT PICKET arrived at the Rayburn Building at 7 AM to enter when the building first opened to the public, to secure our spectator seats for the 10 AM hearing.

First, some views of the Judiciary Committee hearing room when C-Span was allowed in early to set up their cameras:

We took our places at the very front of the spectator line, and were soon joined there by the courageous ladies of the DC PROJECT (in blue), whose representatives from all 50 states come to DC annually to lobby their legislators to support the Second Amendment.

The president and founder of the DC Project, Dianna Muller, testified very effectively at this hearing as a pro-2A witness opposing the AWB of 2019:

We stood by and watched as Committee staff for the majority Democrats let dozens of their supporters into the Committee hearing room early to pack the spectator rows behind their own Bloomberg/Soros gun-ban witnesses.

Among the witnesses waiting briefly in the hallway was Charlottesville Police Chief RaShall Brackney:

Just after 10 AM the hearing room doors were opened to those of us whom the political elites call “ordinary” and “everyday” people to take a seat.

We were able to find some good seats at the center, behind the “reserved” seating rows:

Our show-center audience view was nevertheless very fugly, with direct lines of sight to Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry “No Nads” Nadler, the moronic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, Rep. Eric Swalwell (with his staff video recording his unsurpassed gun-ban wisdom from behind him), gun-banner Rep Ted Deutch, and that unmade-bed known as Rep. Jamie Ratskin, debuting his wack new hairdo combining new hair plugs, black hair color and hair grease to replace his former gray Brillo-Pad donut doo:

We could hear the witnesses well, but to also watch their testimony we relied on the video monitors on the side walls. First photo is pro-2A witnesses Amy Swearer and Dianna Muller; second pic is hysterical Charlottesville Chief Brackney, third is that weird “ATF guy” who got almost all of the questions, leaving the other angry female gun-ban witnesses to pout because they were mostly ignored:

I'm sorry I watched the video beyond Jeff's ejection. Cedric Richmond is a complete idiot.

Republican members of the Committee did not hold back; the aggressiveness of their questions to the gun-ban “experts” occasionally drew gasps and hisses from the gun-ban morons in the audience.

Just in case you thought that Jeff’s declaration and ejection created the only breach of decorum, remember, these are the Democrats: their Bloomberg/Soros gun-ban sock puppets also cheered and clapped loudly during the hearing for their own witnesses, as they are also allowed to do in Annapolis.

Yet their witnesses provided relatively less testimony (given their 5 to 2 advantage at the witness table) than could be expected because the Democrapper Representatives often used up most of their 5 minutes of “question time” making self-serving virtue-signaling statements lauding themselves, instead of questioning the witnesses, LOL.

Below, Republican Representatives Louie Gohmert and Jim Jordan, who along with the other Republicans did use their time well, to give the pro-2A witnesses a chance to make our case:

PATRIOT PICKET and Maryland Patriots, thanks to your WWNC efforts during the last MGA session and again at this Federal hearing, are leading the way for the “WE WILL NOT COMPLY” movement nationwide.

As the hearing progressed, the gun ban morons seemed to become despondent from their surprising lack of traction; their cheering and clapping ceased, and a considerable number of the Red Mommie sock puppets abandoned the hearing well before it ended, leaving a relative few behind:

Not even the Democrats were that interested in their own virtue-signaling hearing circus: all of them were mostly absent until their question time arrived.

Even Chairman Nadler spent most of his time in the Committee Chair ignoring the proceedings, and yuking it up with his staff.

It was quite incongruous to listen to the emo testimony of the mayor of Dayton and the El Paso surgeon, while their Democrat sponsors spent their time ignoring them, laughing it up with each other, and smiling and whispering to their legislative aides.

Nadler mostly spent his time reading his newspapers:

Deep Lurker, thanks for the blow-by-blow recounting. Enjoyed getting a sense of how the day went. Seems like some of the Democrats (which will vote to restrict 2A rights) are going through the motions.

We're talking maybe 100-200 lives lost annually when murdered by someone using a semi automatic rifle. Like any premature loss of life, it's tragic. On a scale of tragedies and lives lost early, it would be interesting to see if Congress spends proportional time on other premature deaths (that are often in the tens to hundreds of thousands). I also wonder if the red mommies invest time in other causes to prevent premature loss of life where the numbers are more substantial.

Although Jeff had been escorted out, the rest of us remained in the hearing room.

Soon after, I noticed what appeared to be staff or security personnel appearing in the two doorways behind the Committee dais, with cameras.

Each would raise their camera into position, pointed approximately at where I was sitting, appearing to obtain the proper framing and distance focus, and then they would swing their cameras slightly until they were pointed directly at me.

I responded by leaning left or right, to put my face behind another spectator, but these cameramen would then shift position sideways to the left or right to focus on me again; I knew this because I could see their camera lens again.

In each case I raised my own phone up to photograph them photographing me, and at very the instant I did this they each shifted their aim slightly to the side as if they were photographing someone else:

Jamie Ratskin seemed particularly agitated throughout the hearing.

This lying turd kept jumping up and scuttling in and out of the hearing. Ratskin doesn’t walk, he scuttles like a crab.

As the hearing neared its end, Nadler had departed but he left that full-time wack job Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee to preside over the remainder of the hearing from the Committee Chair.

Every single legislator was gone, along with their staff, and all the legislator seats on the dais were empty.

Nevertheless, Rep. Jackson Lee used her glory time to pontificate marvelously about this and that.

This included sanctimoniously congratulating the political grandstanding gun-ban witness Chief RaShall Brackney from Charlottesville for achieving her MEDICAL DEGREE while serving as police chief.

Brackney had to inform Sheila J-L that Brackney had received her PhD., not an MD degree.

(You could tell this was true, because Brackney kept term-dropping “the social contract” into her testimony.)

The hearing having been mercifully gaveled to a close, we went forward to congratulate and thank both of the pro-2A witnesses - - Dianna Muller and Amy Swearer - - for testifying for our Rights and against the AWB.
