This is correct. We will accept transfers from other FFLs.

Oh, Ok. thank you for the response(s). After further reading it says I won't need to obtain an HQL if I already own a handgun. Is this correct?

I have been hearing great things about your shop by the way. Definitely going to make my next purchase from you all.

The lower is not a handgun, so you will not need an HQL for a lower.

You will need an HQL to get another handgun, no matter how many handguns you already own.

Not correct. Only training is exempted for that reason. The HQL is required to buy/receive a handgun on/after Oct 1st. AR-15 lowers are banned on Oct 1st, with an exemption for rifles (and lowers) with paperwork submitted before Oct 1st (ignoring the topic of HBARs).

Damn, everyone beat me to it. It appears that we will not be able to deliver any handguns if paperwork is submitted after 9/22 without the recipient obtaining a new HQL.

And I'll bet the MSP won't be capable of issuing any HQLs until sometime in 2014, if ever.

I think we'll see an injunction before we see an HQL.
