My new to me 1941 Italian Carcano M1891 Carbine
Not really into Carcanos but I figured they played a reasonably big part in WWII so my collection wouldn't be complete without an Italian representative.
Fairly cheap and the import markings don't bother me in the least.
I have no idea where I will find correct (.268) ammo for it - any leads would be appreciated.

Was that a Royal tiger purchase?
    How is the bore?
I already have 2 6.5 Carcanos but tempted
At one time Masada had 6.5 Carcano

The stuff is $25-$40 box of 20 depending where it’s sold. Make sure you keep the cases, you can recoup $5 easily per box by selling them

Not a Royal Tiger import. Bore seems okay. Don’t really intend to shoot it much, more just trying to complete an Allied and Axis WWII collection.

I was referring to the M38 short rifle with a folding knife bayonet that can be detached. They were produced in 6.5 and 7.35 calibers. The bayonets are kinda rare and expensive.

1891 carbines can also be had in 7.35 but you don't see many of them...
