Hello all, I'm trying to obtain a Florida carry permit. I have filled everything out online and submitted. They require a paper fingerprint card mailed to them. They have provided me with the card but it needs to be done at a law enforcement agency. I called the MSP in Bel Air and they said they no longer do this. Does anyone know of an agency where I could get this done? Thanks

There is an entire thread on it. Two thoughts:

    1) Send them the prints that Bel Air will do - it has worked for some folks
    2) Drive to York PA - think they do ink prints.

I did mine in VA while at the beach over the summer.

I'll just calling the Annapolis PD, they are starting fingerprints again on Monday, February the 13th. I need to do my FL ones again. They only take personal check or money order, you need an appointment and they only do this on Mondays.

York will do a hard copy of electronic prints. Not ink. I haven't tried yet but apparently they are usually accepted by Florida. No guarantee though

I did my Florida prints at the Montgomery County Police station in Germantown. The Florida fingerprint card is almost identical to the ones that Montgomery County uses. Went very well and I did not even have an appointment.

Yeah I am trying to find somewhere in southern md to get ink prints for Fla and Va renewals and it has to be a law enforcement department

Calvert county sheriffs office quit doing it but says the jail does it so I need to call over there and see if they do it as a law enforcement department and if not I will still be looking
