Do any members own a heavy barrel or light barrel 20 inch . I unfortunately cannot compare them . I am trying to get some opinions on weight balance accuracy etc.

Just for reference I hunt with a Browning Bar Safari 338 Win Mag. And that rifle has a few pounds to it also .

I do wish the Fnar had a front sight or at least it may be able to be drilled and tapped. I would have to talk to Chad or someone regarding that .

I do know they are a bugger to breakdown .

I can add Folding BUIS or a peep rear with blade front on the FNAR.

Theres not a big weight difference IMHO in the short or long barreled FNAR. The shorter one is LOUD though.

Thanks Chad . I am going to stay with a 20 inch barrel just not sure if I should go with heavy or light. Is accuracy really going to play into it that much .
I have been getting mixed reviews on the web.

Both guns shoot great but the heavy barreled ones do group better by about 20%. I would prefer the Heavy Barrel from the 2, but I wouldnt sell the std weight unit.
