How sad it is to see states that are neighbors but are so very different in the ways they approach citizens' rights, specifically, 2A rights. While 2A proponents in the MD gulag are fighting to keep what hasn't already been taken from them, the WV GA is actually increasing those rights and even adding to the language without asking for it.

Basically, HB4048 amends language that makes it illegal to carry loaded long guns in a vehicle (to prevent poachers and such from shooting animals out of season or in prohibited areas) to making it legal so long as there is no verifiable evidence the person was, in fact, going to use the gun for illegal hunting. Can you imagine how many heads would explode if something like this were introduced in the MGA?
