Yeah, I probably bought a couple on plastic but not too often.

I've got a RIA match and it's a great 1911, even without taking into account price. The sweetest trigger I've ever seen on a handgun. I won't bother with the pricing issues, use your own math.

The Colt I started with is a '27 Navy issue. It rattles a bit but never fails. My go-to-guns are the SIGs. The Kimber is on loan to my daughter.

In Maryland you can't be homeless and own a gun, unless you are constantly traveling from range to gunsmith to range and so on.

Got it today at the gun show. Along with some ammo from Georgia Arms and another ammo dealer. Wish the "magazine" guy let me finish, I got a Ruger 25 round 10/22 mag but wanted a couple of 1911 mags. His loss.

I've owned a polished stainless revolver, it's nowhere near as shiny as a properly nickeled pistol. Plus I can put some pearl grips on it!
