As an update, my buddy and I made our trip to Gettysburg yesterday. Incredible day. Beautiful weather. Did a battlefield tour on our own and tried our best to avoid the crowds, then hit Reddings Hardware, Drummer Boy, and the Trading Post. Later in the afternoon we made our way over to Fort Chambers Black Powder shop in Chambersburg where we spent a fun couple of hours talking to (and learning a lot from) the two gentlemen that run the shop. They had a nice selection of flintlock guns and we both left with one. So, that was the icing on the cake. We will be taking the flintlocks up to AGC today to shoot.
