Cute little belly gun, MUCH rather have that than a .380.

Not seeing much of a difference between the gen 3 and gen 4.

different grip texture (sp?) bigger mag release button, and double recoil spring also the 17's and 19's have bigger backstraps you can plun on the back ...not sure if the 27 will also have the xtra backstraps

The Gen 3 G26 already has the dual recoil spring. Word is the uppers are the same as Gen 3 and fully interchangeable with the lowers/frame being the new portion. I'm definitely thinking about picking up a Gen 4 G27 to hang out with my Gen 3 G26 because of that.

Don't the Gen4's have ambi mag release and the interchangable grip inserts?

not really interchangable...they build on or stack on top of the back strap so you can "build" a bigger grip ... and I do believe you can switch them to right or left mag release but don't hold me to that I'm not at work (so I don't have one in my hands) but I do believe they are ambi

May have to go check one out when they get in the stores. I like the gen 3. It all but disappears when carried.

yeah I pefer the gen 3 grips as well, the bigger mag release is nice but if that was a problem for you on the gen 3's you could of switched them out...

No problems with the mag release on the gen 3. I would be interested in the ambi release.
I seem to be prone to damaging my right hand and have learned to shoot equally well with the left.

Those G26's are hell with big hands. I shot my buddies and it was killing me. I can't wait to pick up my Gen 3 G17 :D.

not a range gun for sure ...neat thing about the 26's though is they will accept mags from 17', 19's even the 33 round glock mags ...the big stick in the 26 is neat looking

I find it is infinitely more comfortable with a different floor-plate on the mag. For me I like the Pearce +0.

It doesn't really alter the size of the gun too much and gives you a much improved grip.

I also have a few of the slimmer-profile Pearce +0's:

I put the Pearce +0 grip extenders on all my G29SF mags. Huge difference when shooting full load 10mm. I put one on my 9 round mag for my G30. The 10 rounders have a place to park your pinky already.

As I said the G27 Gen 4 is due mid January.
