Our governor has checked out at this point. He is full tilt in campaign mode for a presidential run right now.

Anyway, good for Georgia. I hear it is nice to live in America.

If only Maryland would follow suit. I do not live in Maryland, but wish my fellow patriots would be able to exercise their rights.

Guns now allowed in schools, bars, churches, government buildings, and more

If you want to pack heat at your local bar, church, school or government building, then Georgia is now the state for you.
Does MD allow it's concealed carry holders to carry guns in churches?

Depends on your license restrictions. There are very few unrestricted permits issued by MSP.

IANAL but if you legally could, it would probably be up to the property owner.

Too bad the college campus carry stuff was stripped out of the bill. No reason for otherwise eligible adults to be disarmed as part of their education. Still a victory in the end, just not quite as big of a victory as it would have been in the original form.

A pretty one sided interview from Bloomberg. The level of pure ignorance on this is amazing. 49 out of 50 states allow carry (of at least 1 form) in restaurants that serve alcohol. Yet the SF lady just throws out all the old nonsense, and the interviewer just basically agrees and doesn't challenge her at all. When the Georgiacarry guy pointed out DC and Chicago's high crime/tough gun law mix, she blames it on states like GA.

Jesus h. Christ I just looked up the woman being interviewed. She heads the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence. This group's webpage says the Constitution is no obstacle to "safe" gun laws. Talk about a bunch of left wing moon bats.

    Definitely not where you are!
The same thing happened when CNN did an op-ed piece on this law. Two guest panelist who thought the law was stupid. What happened to guests with differing opinions on a particular subject matter.

Today's media = yes men bobble head dolls
