    My Utah that is. :lol2:

    Got Chaw. :lol2:

Guess it's time to find a compact for carry. Oh, and read up on the states that surround us and the recipicle laws.

Congrats (even though this sort of thing SHOULD be 'unremarkable')

As for neighboring states and reciprocal laws, I recommend going to handgunlaw.us and printing out the current pages for any states you'll be in that Utah covers, and keep a folder with you when you travel. Don't forget to keep it updated!!!

I also like to keep copies of MD AG opinions, purchase records, copies of permits, etc., just cuz.

Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it, right??

    Carry well.

My Utah came in last night as well! :party29: I am waiting on my raven ACR holster, but for now it will be my phantom. I do need a single mag pouch though, I guess the spare mag is going to have to float in a pocket for the time being.

Curious why so many seem to go for the Utah permit as opposed to Florida. I got my Fl, and haven't bothered with Utah because the reciprocity is so similar and Florida was so much easier to get. I didn't need to go to any class etc.]

well for one FL statute requires live fire. UT does not. UT is also cheaper

    there are probably others.

Re Florida...I didnt have to do live fire or go to a class. All I had to do was submit paperwork, fingerprint card, and proof of attendance at a safety class. I used my old MSP card from when I bought my first firearm at On Target. They held a short safety class back then and gave the cert's out, no fire required and this was years ago. Florida accepted it without question.
