Decided to purchase a leather gun belt. After a little bit of research decided on a gun belt from A Better Belt USA, the owners were great to deal with and answered all my questions.

Purchased ultimate gun belt from them last summer and very happy with it. It does seem they may have gone up on their prices as I paid $62.96 with free shipping.

Edit: I paid less than listed retail because they also give a military/LEO discount.
